Abstract
This study examines the implementation of Indigenous Knowledge Systems
(IKS) within the framework of higher educational institutions (HEIs) in Tamil
Nadu, particularly focusing on initiatives in HEI. IKS is integrated through
field visits, dedicated courses, and community outreach programs, aligning with
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the National Education Policy (NEP)
