A new species of Polynema Haliday (1833) (Hymenoptera:
Mymaridae), Polynema (Doriclytus) tyakshiensis sp. nov., is described from the Trans-Himalayan region
Ladakh, India. Illustrations of the holotype are given. The holotype has been
preserved in the Zoology Department, Aligarh Muslim University (ZDAMU), India.
